Five

(aired 5/6/11)

number five

Yesterday was Cinco de Mayo — the fifth day of the fifth month. In celebration, I’m only playing songs with the number 5 in the titles for today’s show. We get to explore the range of related topics, whether they’re prime, fibonacci, odd, or pentasyllabic. There are five rings of the olympic symbol, five fingers, five elements, five senses, and five vowels.

This playlist has a diverse range of artists celebrating the number in their own valuable ways. High five!
