KSKQ is the voice of the community throughout the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. It broadcasts at 89.5 FM and 94.1 FM and streams around the world at www.kskq.org.
Since 2007, KSKQ has brought progressive news and outstanding music to the Rogue Valley. We were the first and only broadcaster of “Democracy Now,” and KSKQ volunteers produce the most diverse, original offerings of any radio station throughout Southern Oregon.
Since KSKQ’s inception, we have stood side-by-side with local causes, such as the non-GMO ordinance passed in Jackson County in 2014, and the station continues to support healthy farms and sustainable ways of living in community.
KSKQ has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise the funds to hire a full-time Executive Director committed to environmental, social and economic justice, and to improve the station. This leader will work with our team of volunteers to build KSKQ’s capacity to support local news, local organizations and causes. As the Executive Director works to make the station more financially sustainable, our community as a whole will markedly benefit.
With your help, KSKQ will grow as the voice of community in the Rogue Valley. The airwaves are a public good, meant to serve the People directly. KSKQ will continue to make those airwaves available to you--as it has for 13 years.
Thank you for taking the time to support this worthy cause. Non-commercial community radio can do more to address social issues than any other instrument in the local media sphere. You can make a difference by supporting KSKQ today.
KSKQ - The voice in your heart.
